This dynamic 2-day workshop will:
- Provide the reasons for revising the MITI, including how this changes scores and expectations in treatment and research settings
- Teach you to use the global ratings to evaluate the relational and technical elements of MI
- Teach you to count and evaluate specific behaviors that are desirable and prohibited in MI
- Provide ideas for providing feedback from the MITI for MI learners
- Present a method for establishing learning communities after MI Training
- Show you methods for establishing, evaluating and maintaining reliability in coding group
Target Audience
This workshop will be especially useful for those who have previously used the MITI 3 and wish to transition to using the MITI 4. Novice coders (those who have no experience using the MITI) are also appropriate for this workshop.
